DOING YOUR DNA TEST AT HOME
Please complete your DNA Saliva test then request a pre-paid courier to collect it.
1. YOUR DNA KIT ID
Photograph & write down your DNA KIT ID, it’s under the tube bar code (btw the tube contains a stabilising liquid). You will need your KIT ID to access the App in future.
Please keep your KIT ID backed up, your results are not associated with your email or name.
2. DOING YOUR DNA TEST
Don’t eat or drink for 30 mins before saliva test.
Unscrew the tube lid and screw the funnel onto the tube. (Please don’t spill the stablising liquid).
NB: Fill your saliva to the 4mL line on the tube.
Remove the funnel, screw the tube lid back on.
3. COURIER COLLECTION
Place the tube containing your saliva sample into the silver envelope provided. (Double-check that the tube lid is screwed closed (do not over-tighten).
4. INSTALL THE APP
Using your phone’s App store, search for and install the “MUHDO” App.
Click Sign Up to create your account.
Follow the setup procedure. Your results will available in the App (usually in 3-6 weeks).

Please read the steps below so you can complete your DNA sample as soon as possible and get it back to us for genetic sequencing.
MULTIPLE KITS: If you have multiple kits for family and friends, then please follow the instructions for each DNA sample individually.

YOUR DNA SAMPLE KIT
Instructions for your DNA, app and activating the courier collection.
1. KIT ID
Photograph and write down your KIT ID, situated under the bar code. You will need your KIT ID to access your DNA results.
2. FUNNEL
Unscrew the lid from tube, be careful not to spill the stablising liquid. Screw the funnel onto the tube.
3. SALIVA SAMPLE
Fill your saliva up to the 4mL line. Don't eat or drink for 30 mins beforehand.
NOTE: There is already 2mL of stabilising liquid in the tube.
4. INSTALL THE APP
Install the MUHDO app on your iOS or Android smartphone.
5. SIGN UP
Click Sign Up to create your account. Please save your password somewhere safe.
6. YOUR DETAILS
Add you details on the form.
7. SIGN IN
After creating your account you will be prompted to sign in.
8. KIT ID SCAN
You will be prompted to scan or enter your KIT ID.
9. SUCCESS
Once your DNA is sequenced (usually around 4 weeks) your results will be available in the app.
10. ENVELOPE
Screw the lid on tighly and place your saliva sample into the envelope provided.
11. ACTIVATE
Visit http://www.thewellnessrevolution.co.za, select 'Collect My Sample' and complete the form. The courier will be dispatched. You will recieve a copy of the courier request by email for your record.
